July 2026
It has been an eclectic summer, having just returned from my solo exhibition at Horseshoe Gallery with curator Bobby Beals in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I really enjoyed being in the Land of Enchantment, getting to know the community and sharing new works. Above is one of the featured paintings from this exciting event, Soft Circuitry, 40”x30”, acrylic and pencil on canvas. This work is still available, and queries are welcomed. Thank you to the many who attended and contributed to this experience. Thank you so much to the collectors who brought my art into their homes and hearts.
A very big thank you goes to San Diego State University’s @pacificreview : moment(o) for selecting to include my two works, 1)Progenitor and 2)Los Pajaritos. This West Coast arts review annual is the summation of much hard work and dedication by SDSU’s Departments of English and Comparative Literature, student editors and fellow included artists and writers. I’m honored and excited to be a part!
“Not merely a literary journal—it is an archive of ache, longing, inheritance, rupture, and survival assembled from the creative underground of the American West Coast. Produced by the students of San Diego State University Press, this electrifying annual issue gathers poetry, photography, comics, collage, painting, memoir, and experimental visual art into one sprawling meditation on memory: what we inherit, what we bury, what refuses to disappear.
At once polished and feral, scholarly and emotionally raw, pacificREVIEW 2026 captures a generation reckoning with nostalgia, diaspora, trauma, ecology, family, and the strange digital afterlife of remembrance itself. The issue moves fluidly between the gallery wall, the poetry chapbook, the underground comic, and the late-night confession whispered into the void.”
